Maintenance and Care FAQs
Neoprene Waders
Neoprene is a tough and durable material, however, taking good care of your waders will ensure you get many seasons of use.
How can I keep my neoprene waders in good health?
To keep your BARE wader looking good and in good health, after using it you should rinse your wader with water from garden hose. If you don’t have access to a garden hose let your wader soak in warm freshwater for 30 min. After soaking them, it is a good idea to wash them with mild soap. Use a toothbrush or a small scrub brush to loosen any debris. Rinse with warm freshwater. Turn your waders inside out and hang to dry.
Note: Be sure to keep them out of direct sunlight. UV rays can damage neoprene over time.
